Fountain Place Tower gets accompanying 45 story apartment building

The plot originally earmarked for the Fountain Place’s twin tower is being developed into a 45-story residential building. The building will be located across Fountain Place plaza at 1800 N Field St, Dallas, TX 75202.

The tower, constructed by AMLI, will be a familiar sight to the Dallas skyline as it will carry many of the same Design motifs of the Fountain Place tower with its sharp angles, geometric silhouette, and glass color. The Lead architect saying in a Dallas Morning News interview, "We couldn't do a twin – it's a residential tower instead of an office tower. We wanted the buildings to seem like siblings, not twins."

The new tower will have 367 units with spacious interiors, the average unit having 1250 square feet. It will also have a lot of amenities for residents including a large green space and pool on the roof of the parking garage. And at such close proximity to the Fountain Place tower, and downtown as a whole, the building will be great for professionals working in the city. And the water gardens separating the sister towers will be completely re-don to include retail and restaurants, creating a great new walking space for residents of the tower and Dallas as a whole!

Construction has already begun and the project is slated to be complete in late 2019.
